There’s something really special about photographing a family year after year, and the Fortmayer family is one of those for me. I’ve watched their kids grow, their personalities unfold, and their connections deepen with every session. He’ll start talking about fishing and instantly come alive, and Letti always lights up the moment her brother and sister stand next to me calling her name—it’s those little, familiar moments that make all the difference. Their trust in me has allowed me to build genuine relationships with their incredible kids, helping me capture images that feel natural, joyful, and true to who they are. Being invited back into their lives time and time again hasn’t just helped me document their story—it’s made me a better photographer for them in every way.
