June was together with her two beautiful big sisters for her newborn session, and the entire morning felt so sweet from beginning to end. For the family portion of the session, we focused on more relaxed and natural posing. Instead of perfectly posed images, the goal was simply to capture the connection between everyone and show just how loved baby June already is. A Soft and Timeless Color Palette
For this session, we used a soft cream color palette for the family photos, and I absolutely loved how timeless it felt. Lighter neutral tones help keep the focus on what matters most: those beautiful faces, sweet expressions, and all the emotion in the images. The simplicity of the colors also gave the gallery such a calm and cozy feel.
Including Big Sisters in the Session
June’s big sisters were so loving and gentle with her throughout the session. Sibling images are always some of my favorite photos to capture during newborn sessions because they freeze such a special season for a family. Watching older siblings interact with a new baby is something that changes so quickly, and those moments become even more meaningful with time. Because we kept the posing relaxed and playful, the images felt natural and full of personality.
Newborn Sessions After the First Few Weeks
Newborn sessions are typically scheduled between 1–3 weeks old. However, June came to see us closer to one month old, and her session was still absolutely perfect. One thing I always remind parents is that every baby is different. We simply adapt the flow of the session to make sure your baby stays comfortable and settled throughout the process. June did an amazing job and handled every setup so well.
