Archbishop Shaw Family Night & Preseason Scrimmage | 2026

The 2026 Archbishop Shaw Eagles football season is officially underway, and it has already been exciting to watch this team come together. At Shaw’s Family Night, students introduced themselves while the band, cheerleading team, and Eaglettes helped kick off the evening with some incredible performances. Coach Hank Tierney also shared about the team’s dedicated practices and the high expectations he has for these young men as they prepare for the season.

Preseason Scrimmage

This past Thursday, the Eagles traveled to St. Amant High School for a preseason scrimmage at “The Pit.” The freshman and JV teams both showed a lot of promise and competed hard, while also giving the coaches plenty to work on as the season gets closer. It was a great opportunity to see these athletes put their hard work into action and begin building the teamwork, discipline, and confidence that will carry them through the season.
