Archbishop Shaw vs. Archbishop Rummel Megaphone Game Football Photos | 2026

Friday night brought one of the biggest rivalry games of the season to Joe Zimmerman Stadium as the Archbishop Shaw Eagles hosted Archbishop Rummel for the annual Megaphone Game.

After starting the 2026 season 2–0 with wins over Hahnville and West Jefferson, the Eagles faced a tough Rummel team in a game filled with plenty of school spirit, tradition, and Friday night football atmosphere. Rummel came away with a 24–7 win, moving to 3–0 on the season while Shaw is now 2–1.

The Megaphone Game is always a special night for both schools, and this year was no exception. Shaw Athletics also recognized the 1976 Shaw football team before kickoff, adding another special piece of history to an already meaningful night.
