KVR Photography's studio is located in Westwego, LA.  The studio backs up to Bayou Segnette State Park and offers indoor and outdoor location.  For an indoor/outdoor session, the best lighting will be a few hours before sunset.  It is good option year round and it is easy to change outfits in the studio.

The back of City Park has bridges, big open fields, and large trees.  It's perfect for a relaxed session with a nature feel.  This spot is good about an hour before sunset and always provides beautiful scenery.

The Front of City Park

The front of City Park has a beautiful mix of architecture and greenery.  It has the perristyle, bridges, and gardens. This area photographs the best either early morning, around 8AM, or about an hour before sunset.  Keep in mind, this location can be busy on the weekends.

Crescent Park

Crescent Park is a great location for a more edgy look.  Located in the Bywater neighborhood, the streets, the bridge, and the park offer a variety of settings.  This location has the best lighting an hour before sunset.

Downtown New Orleans

Photographing in the French Quarter brings a ton of life to your photos.  This area changes constantly and that's part of the fun!  These sessions are done during the week due to the amount of background people.  There are a lot of possibilities around the french quarter so we meet there and plan to walk around on a photo adventure.  Early mornings around 8AM or evenings are the best time to shoot here.  

Audubon Park

This part of Audubon Park is a beautiful spot that incudes large trees, a fountain, and a wrought iron fence.  We can park at the zoo and have access to a variety of beautiful spots.  The best lighting is about an hour before sunset, but it can also be done at 8AM.

NOCCA Neighborhood

The neighborhood and streets around NOCCA (New Orleans Center for Creative Arts) have a unique variety of classic New Orleans porches,  mixed with modern buildings and graffiti walls.  We can get the full urban experience in this neighborhood.  Evenings are the best time to shoot here.

Fulton Street

Fulton Street is a clean urban environment that captures a city-like feel.  Every few feet there is a different look that can work casual or fancy outfits.  This location is best during the week due to crowds.  Evenings are the best time to shoot here.

Downtown Covington

Downtown Covington has the cutest variety.  It has a park, a gazebo, and urban streets all right next to each other.  This location gives you a ton of beautiful southern backdrops. This location has the best light about an hour before sunset.  There is a $50 travel fee for this location.

Fontainebleau State Park

Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville has a beautiful combination of old oak trees and a beach full of unique cypress trees.  If you love nature but you still want variety, this is a great spot.  For this location we start in the trees and we photograph the beach right at sunset.  There is a $50 travel fee for this location.

Other Locations

This list is just a small sample of places where we can make memories.  I'm open to unique places that are special to you.  The Zoo, the Aquarium, Longue Vue House and Gardens, the Botanical Gardens, and Parc des Familles are a few more spots that we can utilize.  One thing to keep in mind is that we try to find space that gives you a variety of backdrops while still having good light.  When deciding on a location, keep in mind admittance fees, closing times, and most importantly...light!
